I spent this past weekend farming cucumbers in a small village outside of Seoul. I, along with a group of 60 other korean university students and a few other internationals, helped out the village farmers with numerous different farming activities. my job was pinning cucumber vines up onto a hanging string so they can grow up it. Other people did jobs like pick tomatoes and prune eggplant. From what i learned, Korean University students help farmers every crop season in order to make sure that farmers are able to supply Korea with enough food. I assume this is because 60% of Korea's population lives in Seoul, meaning that the small portion of farmers in the other 40% has to work hard to keep them' fruits and veggies comin!
For dinner to I got to eat some cucumbers and they have never tasted better!!

Nice! Way to help the country you are currently living in. :)
